I'm not so great at tutorials, so I'll give you the end results and let you know what materials I used. That way, you can steal my idea and make it your own. I don't mind sharing {as long as it's not food...} and I hope you enjoy them!
As you can see, you need some glass....jars? I think that's the right word. These are left-over jars from peppers, pickles, baby food {I don't have kids. I shamefully bought four jars of baby food for the smaller ones...sorry!} As you can also see, you'll need some Jute. I had this left over from my jewelry making adolescence, however you can get it from the craft store easy-peasy. Third, you'll need something from which to create a secure handle/hanger and with which to hang your luminaries. I hung mine with 12 gauge metal wire from Target. Third, you'll need your husband's Letherman. I have my own...it just has glue on it.... So use your own if it's not been too mistreated. All of that put together, and mine looked like this:
COOL HUH??? I'm proud of it. It just looks pretty! :) Your last ingredient to a luminary, however, is the light! {DUH...! hehe} Because I'm afraid of blowing my house up {because yes -that is something that I would do....ON ACCIDENT}, and our deck and it's furniture are just over a year old, I decided to use.....{drum roll please....}
FLAMELESS CANDLES {that you can't see because I waited until it was Creative Therapy day to get my act together, but I SWEAR...they're in there!}! I got them at Target {said, of course, Tarjayyyy}!
